Our introductory course is designed to equip you with the stepping stones to create a working foundational knowledge of Shin Buddhism.
In this six-part fundamental course, Reverend Turner orients Buddhism within the framework of other world religions and theologies, and asks questions to help encourage you to broaden your own horizons through your own individual Buddhist practice.

Lead Minister for Everyday Buddhist. Resident Minister at Orange County Buddhist Church. High School athlete, UCLA mathematician, and computer programmer, who found Buddhism mid-career and changed the course of his life. Earned a Master’s degree from the Institute of Buddhist Studies and was ordained as a full-time Shin Buddhist Minister at the Nishi Hongwangi in Kyoto, Japan.
